I always get the strangest feeling when I close my eyes and lie still.
It feels as though the entirety of my existence is hovering in a space no bigger than a small pea inside my head. At the same time though, it feels as though I'm like a canvas, stretched as much as the skies in the heavens above, feeling, touching, encompassing everything.
At that moment I have no perception of proximity; for instance the distance between my toes and my hair feels almost non-arbitrary. And in a way all my close friends feel awkwardly, yet comfortably close (almost physical) to me.
