Perhaps it's because you are some sort of helpless romantic.

You are a natural when it comes to 'facial' profiling (you know what I mean - I've always talked about recognizing an asshole on first look). Go for good ones. Not nice ones. Because everyone can be nice. A g (gangster) can be subjectively nice too. But there are certain traits that will not die off. Stereotyping, but most of the time stereotypes hold.

Maybe patience helps.
