My anti-maplestory-ness is going from bad to worse, or good to better depending on which side you are on.

Please please, oh please, don't play maplestory.

There are tons of nice games out there. You can't possibly play all games in your life, so play quality games I say.

You use your keyboard mainly (so play pacman and minesweeper if you must, just don't play maplestory).
It's just. Damn. Sometimes I wonder how does it even seem entertaining. Cute games aren't like that (other than the 6 or 8 stupid faces. if you like emotes, and the odds are, that some of your MSN emoticons, came from ragnarokonline.)

Maplestory is such a slipshot work.

Sure sure, first scroller RPG game. Dude, I'm gonna code for a '80s-arcade' rpg, first ever in the world, you know, those video games whereby you have a spacecraft below and you are there zapping aliens and stuff nonstop. That genre. Basically you just press left and right and hold down spacebar, and try not to crash into the meteories, I mean, monsters. And as you upgrade, your lasers spells, change color.

I'd rather play with a cardboard. Needs no electricity. Eco-friendly.
It's flat and 2D. And it has 5 axes of movements(oh, throw in pitch and yaw and roll for me too). And hell yeah, I can do some serious role-playing on/with it.


Can maplestory do that?
