Oh ya just to add on.

Recently I find adult Malays very kind. Perhaps its this is why they are very tolerant of their youth who always seem rowdy, inconsiderate and irritating.

What made me say so. On my skates (inline skates aka rollerblades), no one stopped for me while I slowed as I approached and waited patiently by the zebra crossing. Not Malaysian cars. Not Chinese Singaporeans. I probably could have dashed and cause people to brake suddenly and very likely cause a minor collision, or at the very least, send someone cussing away. Skates wouldn't even take a fraction of a second to cross 1.5 metres.

I don't understand why people don't stop. It's usually aggravated if the first car doesn't stop - the entire line of 20-30 cars have a MAJOR tendency to follow suit.

Yesterday, a Malay lady stopped for me. And today, a Malay (merc) cab driver waved me over.

And if you were the driver you would have noticed that the skater you stopped for beamed thankfully at you, nodded slightly and returned your wave.

Sorry. I go out without contacts often these day.

While jogging, especially at night, I can't differentiate guy from girl at 10m distance. Not to mention recognizing friends.

'Can' actually but I find it weird if a stranger was squinting at you while jogging.

you know she's never gonna tell you
if she likes it this way
you know she's never gonna ask you
if you feel the same
and all that she can say is give it just a little bit

was it worth it
did you give your life away

a train that never stops rolling
it's getting into your blood
a need that never stops growing
she's a poisonous one
a hope for better days but nothing seems to fix it
you're wasting away

a desperate addiction
a familiar affliction
denying won't fix it
this desperate religion
She prefers the jay to the rain, what was I to do, but to fracture my heel?

What luck. First I smashed my ipod. Then my speakers died.

Crazy as it sounds, I switched on my lights (which I suspect might not have been connected that properly but still works anyway) and there was a sound of static discharge amplified by the speakers.

Just now the cackling from static was EXTREMELY loud and my speakers died.

With random on and offs, the speakers MAY come to life. However I cannot adjust the volume and switch on/off. Adjustments/switches are relayed to an integrated circuit (i.e the switch is not a physical one nor is there a twistable volume knob) so I suspect the circuit board is damaged.

The speakers are also EXTREMELY sensitive to static now. E.g. My neighbor across the street flicks on his light and I can hear a 'pop' sound coming from my speakers.

I got these messages.

Unable to write, disk failure.
Ipod could not be restored. Unknown error.
Could not write to disk. Firmware write failure

Then it detects my ipod as R2D2.

Then I tried to reset it, it says "there was a problem obtaining information from your ipod".

People were saying the only way you could solve it is to send it back to the store. But mines not under warranty anymore. knn.

I tried damn alot of times. Had it, so I smashed it against the table hard. It died.

So did my table.

cheebye. The table's innocent.
I think the people at smash lab are retarded. Mythbusters are so much better.

Like todays 'crash absorbing concrete'. They were guessing the car will SINK into concrete (just drove on concrete laid down like a landing strip) at 75ft, 76, 96 and 110. Without even thinking I knew it would just drive on all the way to the end. And I was right. Haven't you guys like driven before? If it could sink, how do you drive on gravel or soft soil, especially at high speed? Even with hard suspension you would be able to drive on soft surfaces, just that steering response would lag.

Besides, they've got only stupid ideas. Putting screwed up DIYs to the test. Saying "Oh we did pretty well." when clearly they altered the outcome of their dumb experiments.

M:"Hi sweetie."
D:"...................."
M:"And who's this young man with you?"
D:"...................."
K:"Oh hello auntie."
M:"Hi, how are you?" -eyes widened seeing how someone can look so disheveled and have such dark eye rings-
K:"I'm good m'am. How are you?" -tries to inch into the shadows-

Always the most unglam at the wrong times.

I'm really trying to sleep. I woke at 5 today. Probably had 3 hours of sleep(max). Forcing myself to stay awake till night.

And at this rate I'll run out of diclofenac and naproxen sodium. Idk if wrist guards help at all. Would it have been worse if I hadn't worn them, sans abrasions, superficial wounds? Perhaps swelling or even fracture?

What's wrong with our traffic rules. 70% light transmission for helmet visors? I thought windscreens are already a pain in the ass. And no reflective tints? Why, is that distracting? What's it for? ID purposes? Riders and drivers can always wear raybans.

Oh. I seem to send wrong signals always. I'm just reserved in a _______ (cold?/mysterious?/scary?/iaminterestedinyou?/idontknow) sense. For those that even bother to talk to me seem to go really soft when talking to me. I know I talk very softly but reciprocation is not necessary. Maybe I am intimidating. But why talk if that's the case? I wouldn't talk to someone who looks menacing. They always give me the deer in headlight+spotlight look with a really innocent smile.

At this rate I'll never get my phone back.

Sony ericsson called AGAIN and said they are sending it to a even 'higher' repair centre and it will take 2 to 3 more days AGAIN. If they are giving me a brand new phone please per (hokkien for reimburse) me a screen protector or a damn stylus.

Am I nice by not making a big fuss or asking to speak to the manager or am I stupid?

Anyway I've had a habit of not screwing in the removable panel of my computer casings. I upgraded my subwoofers and each beat causes the panel to rattle. Just bolted it down. Been sounding fine.

Sent my phone for servicing after failed hacking attempts.

I wanted to remove the hideous GENERATION MIO (SINGTEL) branding all over my phone. They surprise you with a broken singtel page when you load your internet browser. They surprise you by not letting you move/edit that very broken link, strategically placed right smack in the middle of your screen.

However cleverly disguised they still peek out here and there. Thought I had it (especially since it's only a month old, so I don't have THAT much things on it), so I backed up my stuff and tried to format my phone, change the firmware. Disaster. The service centre couldn't even power up phone. So they are sending it back to HQ for the repairs and good job man - everyone's off on weekends, that is to say, I'll get my phone back only next wednesday.

Second, my stylus broke. I merely dropped it. I wouldn't be too upset if it broke off in the middle or at the other end, but truth is, the tip broke off. And replacement styli come in pack of 3 for forty bucks, in the same great plasticky material. They don't even sell metal ones as excessories. I've got half a mind to fashion a stylus out of wood.

Random note: Though we can't turn back time, we can buy time - by living healthily.

Got so many people on my msn list that I'm not too sure who's who.

I can't remember your email and I've lost your number. Plus a horrible memory. I'm guilty. Been like six or eight years? The last thing I remembered was you saying few years back (on msn I think), "Still remember me? We were...." And me replying, "Don't be silly. Of course."

Come think of it, it was a very valid question since I've found myself to be much of a goldfish, with a 5 year memory. I can't remember anything past that. I only remember weird insignificant things if any. Like I remembered my kindergarten toilet door had dual flaps and it was brown and plasticky. I remembered I was given a strange yellow wound-up bird that flaps and actually flies. I remembered being bitten badly by red ants when I was posing for a photo under a tree. I remembered . I.. can't seem to recall any other things.

That did feel like a dream. Or was it? Were we?

It seems like I'm throwing out a note in a bottle to the sea. But I do wonder how are you now.

The weather is unbearably warm these days. I head to the shower, come back out and my forehead's slightly damp in an hour or so, even with both my coms off.

When will it snow here?

I seemingly understand humans less and less as I grow. I can't help but to think what's wrong with people.

For instance, seat belts on minibus. How can that prompt that many people to write to forums daily?

-LTA looking into seat belts for minibuses
-Vacillate no more, it's time to belt them up

-Susie Lawson was so troubled when she saw parents holding their newborns in their laps as they drove out of Thomson Medical Centre that she wrote in to the hospital last August.

And for our greatest toilet break ever, I understand why there are haters. It's really surprising to see some on the extreme opposite end. Chua Lee Hoong, "Reading Internet posting often makes my blood boil. Especially recent one on Mas Selamet Kastari incident and the Committee of Inquiry finding disclosed by the Deputy Prime Minster Wong Kan Seng in Parliament this week."

I don't recall hearing such things and seeing such reactions as a kid. Are people genuinely concerned or have some people adopted the 'say the politically right thing' policy so much so that it has become second nature?
